On January 20th, SPWO was forced to move to a new location after nearly three years of performing in its St. Paul, MO location.
2006
On July 16th, At 3CW's "CounterStrike" event, The SPWO Heavyweight Title was held up after a controversial finish in the match between Nightmare and Ed Kowalski. This was the first time the SPWO Heavyweight Title was defended at another independent promotion's event.
On April 19th, After months of preperation, EBW-UK out of Scotland officially announced that it was reopening as the Scottish School of Wrestling, thereby changing the name of the EBW United States Title to the SSW United States Title.
On February 18th, at 'Don't Get Eliminated', Nightmare won a tournament for the SPWO/InCW Heavyweight titles, defeating AJ the Bomb in the finals. Super Beast won a Battle Royale to name a new EBW United States/InCW Interstate Champion Champion
On February 10th, Ed Kowalski was stripped of the SPWO/InCW Heavyweight Title due to his inability to conclusively defeat Moon Dog Rover at 'Winter Tradition 2006'.
2005
On December 17th, at 'Kwanzapalooza', Ed Kowalski defeated Rebel X and Jon Kowalski in a three way dance to become the SPWO/InCW Heavyweight Champion. This show marks the first appearance by a national-level indy performer in SPWO, as Moon Dog Rover made his in-ring debut.
On September 17th, at 'Showcase Showdown, Rebel X defeated Lithium via pin fall to become the SPWO/InCW Heavyweight Champion.
On August 13th, at 'Scar Wars 2005', Lithium defeated Jon Kowalski via pin fall to become the SPWO/InCW Heavyweight Champion.
On June 4th, at 'Deviant Destruction 2005', Jon Kowalski defeated AJ the Bomb via pin fall to become sole holder of the SPWO/InCW Heavyweight Titles.
On April 23th, at 'Fallout 2005', AJ the Bomb and Jon Kowalski pinned R.o.B. and Chris Reign at the same time during a fatal four way, becoming co-SPWO/InCW Heavyweight Champions.
2004
On December 10th, at 'Tainted Tradition/WinterSlam 2004', AJ the Bomb defeated R.o.B. to become SPWO/InCW Heavyweight Champion.
On October 22nd, at Dead or Alive 2004', R.o.B. defeated AJ the Bomb to become sole holder of the SPWO/InCW Heavyweight Titles.
On September 17th, at 'High Stakes 2004', during a Fatal Four-Way Table Match, AJ the Bomb and R.o.B. both put Jon Kowalski through a table at the same time, and were named co-champions.
On June 25th, at 'Blitzkrieg 2004', Ed Kowalski was stripped of the SPWO Title after it was revealed that his pin fall victory at 'Deviant Destruction 2004' over Rebel X was counted by an unsanctioned ref. AJ The Bomb defeated Rebel X later on to unify the SPWO/InCW Heavyweight Titles. Also, The Roadies (Scott Talon and Lithium) defeated Dread to unify, and become co-holders of, the EBW United States and InCW Interste Championships.
On May 14th, SPWO and InCW put on their first joint show, 'Deviant Destruction 2004'. Ed Kowalski defeated Rebel X to become the SPWO Heavyweight Champion. AJ The Bomb was awarded the InCW Title when Da Chadd failed to show. Halfstack Hodai's team, The Roadies (Lithium and Scott Talon) defeated R.o.B. in a handicap match to become co-holders of the InCW Interstate Championship.
On April 7th, Bite Me Inc.(SPWO's parent company) announced a merger between SPWO and Intense Championship Wrestling out of St. Paul, MO.
In March, at 'Backyard Clash 2004', Dread defeated Tony Bruiser to become EBW United States Champion.
2003
In November, internet search engine Google.com ranked SPWO.com the number one amateur sports entertainment website in the world. (based on quality of links to the site) This ranking would last for five months.
On November 7th, at 'Tainted Tradition 2003', Rebel X defeated Jon Kowalski to capture the SPWO Heavyweight Title for the second time in a '30-Minute Iron Man Tables Match' three tables to two. Also, this show marked the innauguration of the first Extreme Bathgate Wrestling United Kingdom Title, which represented a Scottish promotion. Tony Bruiser became the first champion, defeating Dread, Chris Reign and Nightmare in a Gauntlet Match.
On July 29th, at 'Scar Wars 2003' Jon Kowalski defeated Rebel X to combine the SPWO and ETW Titles (and all titles those had merged with) in a 'Ladder Match'.
On June 22nd, at 'Deviant Destruction 2003', Jon Kowalski defeated Dread to capture the SPWO Heavyweight Title for the second time in a 'Street Fight' match.
On May 21st, KSHB NBC News out of Kansas City filmed an SPWO House Show. This was the first TV coverage for SPWO, and the first non-local coverage for a Missouri underground promotion.
2002
On November 9th, at 'Tainted Tradition 2002', Dread defeated Jon Kowalski to unify the SPWO's Heavyweight and Missouri titles in a two out of three falls match, becoming the SPWO Heavyweight Champion.
On September 27th, at 'Scar Wars 2002', Dread defeated Ed Kowalski to become the SPWO Missouri Champion.
On August 13th, SPWO Owner Colby J. Marshall registered the web site address "www.spwo.com". The site was officially changed from its original Geocities.com address on August 15, 2002, leaving the address where it received nearly 8,000 hits in its two separate runs (1/00-11/00, 1/02-8/02).
On June 23rd, the SPWO Missouri Area Title was renamed the SPWO Missouri Title.
On March 10th, at 'Deviant Destruction 2002', Jon Kowalski defeated Rebel X to become the SPWO Heavyweight Champion in a street fight match. Also, Ed Kowalski was awarded the SPWO Missouri Area Title when then-champion Cardiac failed to show for the event.
On February 12th, at 'Backyard Clash 2002', Rebel X defeated Ed Kowalski, and was named the new SPWO Heavyweight Champion. Also, Cardiac was named the new SPWO Missouri Champion after defeating Gimmick Burglar and Dread in a three-way-dance.
On January 25th, The SPWO restarted operations with a house show done along with an ETW show.
2001
***Sometime in late 2001/early 2002, the ETW and EWA Titles are combined when Rebel X defeats then-EWA champ Seth Cylix. While the date is unknown, the signifigance lies in the later combination of the SPWO and ETW titles, thus creating one "Super Title" that now represents the entire eastern half of the state of Missouri
On August 8th, The newly reformed SPWO officially entered into a working agreement with ETW out of St. Peters, MO, allowing for wrestlers from both feds to be used by both groups.
In July, Colby J. Marshall, the original owner of the SPWO, took back the rights to the SPWO name from the EWA. The beginning stages of the return of the original SPWO were put in motion.
In June, Ed Kowalski becomes the first SPWO roster member to compete at the independent pro level, competing in two television matches for Gateway Championship Wrestling as 'Super Castaldi'.
2000
On November 6th, The original SPWO shut down over a disagreement with the EWA. The SPWO and EWA, as well as the SPWO Heavyweight Title and the EWA title, were split from their unification. The SPWO name was still used by the EWA until July of 2001.
On October 7th, Ed Kowalski threw down the SPWO Heavyweight Title at 'SPWO/EWA's Wrestlepalooza'. A tournament was immediately announced to name a new SPWO Heavyweight Champion. Joey Jabroni won this tournament, defeating EWA's Unknown in the finals to become SPWO Heavyweight Champion.
On August 28th, Ed Kowalski defeated EWA's Unknown at 'SPWO/EWA's Martyr Massacre' in a two out of three falls match to become SPWO Heavyweight Champion.
On July 24th, the SPWO unified with the Extreme Wrestling Alliance, continuing under the SPWO name. The new SPWO held a tournament at 'Scar Wars 2000' to name a new SPWO Heavyweight Champion. Ed Kowalski defeated Myzery in the SPWO finals, becoming the new SPWO Heavyweight Champion. EWA's Unknown (now known as Seth Cylix) defeated Ed Kowalski later on in a controversial SPWO/EWA Heavyweight Title unification match. Hi Jak was fired for failing to show for this event, vacating the SPWO Area Title. The original version of the title was made defunct, but would later be revived as the SPWO Missouri Area Title.
On July 15th, SPWO Heavyweight Champion "Manwhore" Mendoza retired from wrestling, vacating the SPWO Heavyweight Title.
On May 28th, SPWO absorbed the MWA at 'Deviant Destruction 2000'. The MWA Title was combined with the SPWO Heavyweight Title. The SPWO Tag Titles were vacated when Matt Idol turned against Hi Jak during their match with RazorEdge and Kamikaze. The tag team division was soon after dissolved.
On March 31st, at 'Backyard Clash 2000', "Manwhore" Mendoza was awarded the SPWO Heavyweight Title when then-champion Mr. Showtime failed to show for the event. Hi Jak was awarded the first SPWO Area Title, by defeating Ed Kowalski. Hi Jak, along with NRW's Matt Idol, also won the first SPWO Tag Team Championship, defeating NRW's team of Lance Sydal (now Matt Sydal of NWA:TNA) and Sgt. Bob Miller.
1999
In December, the SPWO established its first website, at the now defunct 'Xoom.com' . It was soon after moved to 'Geocities.com', where it received over 6,000 hits between January 2000 and November 2000.
In November, the BWA renamed itself the Saint Peters Wrestling Organization and puts on its first event, Tainted Tradition. This was a four-person tournament to name the first SPWO Heavyweight Champion. Mr. Showtime won the tournament, defeating Zack Mendoza in the finals. Ed Kowalski immediately challenged for the title, because he was not placed in the tournament. Mr. Showtime defeated Ed Kowalski in the first ever SPWO Heavyweight Title defense.
In April, The Basement Wrestling Association was officially organized in St. Peters, Missouri after more than 12 years of competition in unorganized matches in various places. It's first four members were Ed Kowalski, The Luv Muscle, Mad Dog and Mr. Showtime.
